SUSHIRO to further expand the number of stores with Digiro installed! 16 stores will be installed from early June to the end of September

Akindo Sushiro Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Suita City, Osaka Prefecture; President and CEO: Mizutome Koichi; hereinafter referred to as Sushiro), a subsidiary of FOOD & LIFE COMPANIES Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Suita City, Osaka Prefecture; President and CEO: Mizutome Koichi; hereinafter referred to as F&LC), has been implementing a new initiative, “Digital Sushiro Vision,” commonly known as “Digi-Ro,” at three stores since September last year, under the slogan “One step ahead of conveyor belt sushi.” In response to positive feedback from customers, the company is pleased to announce that it will be expanding the number of stores that will implement Digi-Ro to 16 new stores between early June and the end of September, starting with the Sushiro Gifu Masaki store, which is scheduled to reopen on Thursday, June 6th.

Background of the expansion of Dejiro stores

In its mid-term management plan announced last November, F&LC set the goal of “Establishing a new Sushiro model with an eye to the future,” and is aiming to update the experience value of customers through various initiatives such as store creation, product development, and human resource training. Digiro is an initiative that proposes “one step ahead of conveyor belt sushi” that reproduces the original fun of conveyor belt sushi using digital technology and allows customers to enjoy an unprecedented store experience. Digiro was trial-introduced at three Sushiro stores, “Esaka Store (Osaka Prefecture),” “Shinjuku West Exit Store (Tokyo),” and “Tenpaku Yakiyama Store (Aichi Prefecture)” at the end of September last year. Since then, we have been making updates to improve the experience value according to customer needs. And now, we have decided to expand the number of stores that introduce Digiro, with the desire to have more customers experience Digiro. *The introduction schedule after Gifu Masaki store will be announced in due course.
