FOOD & LIFE COMPANIES LTD. (Head office: Suita City, Osaka Prefecture; President and CEO: Koichi Mizutome; hereinafter F&LC) is participating in the Signature Pavilion project for the 2025 World Expo, Japan (hereinafter Osaka-Kansai Expo).*1We are pleased to announce that we have been selected as a Silver Partner to sponsor the “EARTH MART” pavilion, which will represent the theme of “Weaving Life,” produced by Kundo Koyama, a theme project producer at the event.

F&LC operates in seven countries and regions around the world, with the vision of “Discovering new tastiness, Sharing moments of joy.”, to steadily provide safe and secure food to customers around the world.
In order to continue its business, F&LC considers “sustainable procurement of marine resources” to be one of its important initiatives, and is currently working on various initiatives.
We decided to sponsor this event because we felt that the “EARTH MART” pavilion, which embodies Kundo Koyama’s wish to “use food as a catalyst to reset what we take for granted and to make people think about the future,” was the perfect place to express our efforts.

As a company with origins in Osaka, F&LC will continue to contribute to the success of the Osaka-Kansai Expo. Further information on the exhibit contents will be announced together with the association’s announcement.

*1: The Signature Pavilion
Theme Project is a project that symbolizes and represents the Osaka-Kansai Expo, and the pavilion created by the eight experts is a “signature work” that discusses and deepens the theme from each of their philosophies, so it was named “Signature Pavilion.” The eight theme project producers will interpret and develop the theme of the Osaka-Kansai Expo, “Designing a Future Society for Life,” from their own unique perspectives, and build a pavilion that will connect with people who will live in the future.
