F&LC to Implement Average 6% Salary Increase for All Full-Time Employees in Domestic Group
FOOD & LIFE COMPANIES Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Suita City, Osaka Prefecture; President and CEO: Masahiro Yamamoto; hereinafter referred to as “F&LC”) has implemented an average 6% salary increase for all 2,900 full-time employees of the domestic group as part of a salary system revision effective October 1, 2024. We would also like to inform you that as part of this, we have also increased the starting salary for new graduates.

■Background and Objectives
As the rise in prices in recent years has caused increasing anxiety about the lives of the people, F&LC believes that new value can only be created in an environment where employees can work with peace of mind and enthusiasm. In addition, with a decline in Japan’s working population certain, in order to realize our corporate vision of “Change the taste of everyday life. Spread joy to the world” and continue to grow for the next 10 to 20 years, we believe it is important to create an organization where diverse human resources can thrive, and have decided to raise salaries to increase our human resource competitiveness.
■Event Overview
1. Salary increase period: From October 2024 (paid on November 15th)
2. Eligible employees: Approximately 2,900 people (all full-time employees working at domestic group companies as of October 1st, 2024)
3. Average increase rate: 6% (total of base increase and regular salary increase)
<Increase in starting salary for new graduates> *Same amount for high school and university graduates
(Reference) After the revision, the maximum salary for new graduates, including the regional allowance, will be 270,000 yen.
*For those working in Tokyo (special wards) and affiliated with F&LC Co., Ltd. and Akindo Sushiro Co., Ltd.

F&LC’s initiatives to “create a more comfortable working environment”
・Encouraging employees to take a five-day holiday: It is recommended that employees take a five-day holiday twice a year
・Paid holiday stockpiling system: A system that allows employees to accumulate expired paid leave that can be used for caregiving, child care, physical injuries, etc.
・Support for men taking parental leave: We hold interviews for employees who have taken parental leave and share the experiences of those who have taken parental leave, and provide support for men as well as women to take parental leave
・Side job/multiple jobs system: A system that allows employees to work on tasks other than their main job outside of working hours
・Revised dress code: We respect diverse values and cultures, and allow employees to work in a dress code that adapts to the changing times, etc.
