Food Education Experience

A project that fosters a sense of gratitude toward food, nature, and producers through experiences that connect people with the origins of food.

Agricultural experience

This food education program has been ongoing since 2015. Families visit the fields where SUSHIRO’s rice is grown to experience rice planting and harvesting together. By getting their hands dirty and experiencing firsthand how rice grows, participants cultivate a sense of gratitude toward farmers and a respect for food, while also gaining a deeper understanding of Japanese agriculture.

Fisheries experience

This tour is designed to teach participants about marine resources and the marine environment. Through hands-on experiences such as visiting aquaculture farms by boat and feeding the fish, we offer a program that helps children develop a sense of gratitude for the food they eat and an appreciation for the importance of marine resources.
