through learning centered on the food we eat every day.
Off-site lessons
We conduct outreach classes centered on the theme of sushi, where we work with students to consider the future of the ocean. Through lectures and workshops, students learn about the current state of the marine environment, and we place great importance on the process of having them devise solutions on their own. Through these activities, we support the proactive learning of the next generation, who will help sustain a sustainable society.
Fisheries experience
In October 2021, we launched a unique scholarship program for our store employees. To ensure that no one has to give up on attending college or advancing to the next academic year due to financial reasons, we provide eligible college student part-time employees with a non-repayable grant of 20,000 yen per month. As a company, we are fully committed to supporting our colleagues in balancing their future aspirations with their academic pursuits.
Social learning cooperation
We host field trips for children from educational institutions located near SUSHIRO restaurants. By offering a unique perspective on our restaurants—one that goes beyond a typical dining experience—and providing opportunities to interact with our staff, we create chances for new discoveries and learning. As a partner in the local community, we help nurture children’s multifaceted perspectives.
