About reopening of “SUSHIRO Dubai Expo”

We are pleased to announce that Sushiro, the restaurant at the Japan Pavilion at the Dubai Expo 2020 (operated by FOOD & LIFE COMPANIES LTD., head office: Suita City, Osaka Prefecture), which had temporarily suspended operations since Monday, December 20th, has now completed preparations and resumed operations from Friday, December 31st.

The store was informed that an employee had tested positive for COVID-19 and had temporarily suspended operations as a precaution. After disinfecting the store, checking the health of employees and conducting tests, the store has now completed all necessary preparations to reopen, and has reported this to the Dubai Expo Authority, which has given approval to reopen.

We deeply apologize to our customers and all concerned parties for any inconvenience and concern caused.

We will continue to work in cooperation with Dubai Expo Corporation, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and the Japan Pavilion to prioritize the safety of our customers and employees and to take further measures to prevent the spread of infection so that you can use our stores with peace of mind.
