Akindo Sushiro Co-sponsored the Osaka Pavilion Project at the 2025 Japan International Exposition Selected as a participating company

Akindo Sushiro Co., Ltd. (Head office: Suita City, Osaka Prefecture; President : You Horie; hereinafter referred to as “Sushiro”), a subsidiary of FOOD & LIFE COMPANIES LTD. (Head office: Suita City, Osaka Prefecture; President and CEO: Koichi Mizutome), has decided to sponsor the Osaka Pavilion, which will be exhibited by Osaka Prefecture, Osaka City, and the Osaka Pavilion Promotion Committee for the 2025 Japan World Exposition, which is being implemented and operated by the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “Osaka-Kansai Expo”), and has been selected as an exhibiting company.

FOOD & LIFE COMPANIES decided on February 17, 2022 to sponsor the Signature Pavilion, the thematic project of the Osaka-Kansai Expo. The Osaka Pavilion project, which has as its theme “REBORN (people can be reborn and take a new step),” aims to create an exciting pavilion that utilizes Osaka’s strengths from the perspective of health, giving the impression of a bright future. Sushiro plans to exhibit on the future of food, which is the foundation of health.

In addition, FOOD & LIFE COMPANIES hopes to spread the appeal and future potential of Japanese food culture to the world through the Sushiro brand, a leading company in kaiten sushi, which became popular around the world following the Osaka Expo in 1970.

In addition, we are currently operating kaiten sushi restaurant, “Sushiro,” as the only restaurant operator in the Japan Pavilion at Dubai, where the “Expo 2020 Dubai” (Dates: October 1, 2021 – March 31, 2022 / Location: United Arab Emirates) is currently being held. This restaurant offers a halal-compliant menu and has been well-received by visitors from all over the world.
