Notice Regarding Establishment of Sustainability Promotion Committee

FOOD & LIFE COMPANIES LTD. (Head office: Suita City, Osaka Prefecture; President and CEO: Koichi Mizutome; hereinafter referred to as F&LC) has established a Sustainability Promotion Committee (hereinafter referred to as the “Committee”) and would like to announce the following:

1. Purpose of Establishing this Committee

F&LC’s vision is “Discovering new tastiness, Sharing moments of joy.” In order to continue to provide safe and delicious food to our customers, it is essential that we undertake sustainable business activities with an eye to the future. We have established this committee to deepen F&LC’s medium- to long-term growth and sustainable efforts, and to contribute to the realization of a society with a future.

2. Role of this Committee

This committee was established under the F&LC Management Meeting and will formulate basic policies regarding sustainability, as well as consider and verify key measures in conjunction with the medium-term management plan. In addition, it will cooperate with the Internal Control Committee and report to the Board of Directors as appropriate.

3. Composition of the Committee

This committee is chaired by the President and CEO, and its members are comprised of executive officers from each division and members designated by the chairman.

4. Installation date

August 29, 2022
